PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Stakeholder,
The senior follower of Gandhian philosophy and ex minister of state, Government of Maharashtra late Kamale guruji had established “Solapur Zilla Samaj Seva Mandal Nehru Nagar” in 1956 with the main principle of equality among all religions and respect to labour, peace and equality.
Our college was established in 2001 to impart high quality education to the students from Bheema Seena river basin of South Solapur tahsil to groom ideal citizens by developing creative and proactive attitude among the students through education. Friends to achieve this vision, we provide the facilities of higher education to the students from the rural area esspecially economically backward and socially marginalised students without any gender bias. Also to uplift the students from rural area we provide the quality and competitive education to enhance their morale.
Our college has completed 18 years successfully. We run Arts, Commerce and Science faculties as well as research centre for Ph D in the subject Geography and Economics. Our college is recognised by UGC 2(f) and 12(B) status. It is accredited by NAAC with B grade CGPA 2.21.
